I can’t wait for the new HBO show, “Girls”! It’s going to be quirky and fun and everything I like about TV so obviously I will be watching.
On the Facebook page for the show, you can create your own internet meme. I couldn’t resist and the above is the result! It’s so me. #sorryimneversorry

I had a small brain fart and checked my camera at coat check so all these photos are from my iPhone. #fail
Coach has taken a new approach to its collection this Fall. Filled with structured totes, bright primary colors and cool embossed leather, the collection strays from its typical norm and creates a whole new experience.

Above is an example of the structured totes. I love the dual colors (navy and brown) and how the bag holds its shape. I’m obsessed with my Hugo Guinness tote by Coach, but it collapses when I place it down. It’s not a big deal at all but I definitely like Coach’s progression to a structured bag.

I was really attracted to the iPad cases as well as the leather notebooks. The colors are amazing and the leather was great quality (as expected). I want my iPad to feel pretty in a Coach case. (Yes, my iPad has feelings!)

The weekend totes is staying! But now, it will come in fall colors (more than what’s picture above). I need to get my hands on one. They are perfect for a quick getaway.

You know those days you are rushing and just can’t think of what to wear so you just pick what is the cleanest, not wrinkled and looks decent together? Well, this is one of those days. You know I didn’t have time in the morning when I am wearing a polo because I usually don’t have to iron them.

Since polos are kind of boring, I made sure to pair with a fun blue leather jacket and of course, sunnies for the bright rays that are finally peeking through the clouds.
I really didn’t think much of this look until a co-worker said I was channelling James Dean. Shoots and scores. I will take the compliment and run with it. Please and thank you.

I really like this satchel. It’s my go to bag when I only need my iPad and a bunch of smaller things. It’s easy to fill and take when I’m on the go (which is basically always). I need to find more in other colors.

And sunglasses are now beyond necessary and I’m so glad for it! You’ll start to see me sporting different pairs every now and then. I’m looking to expand my sunglasses collection. Let’s see how big it can grow! Plus, sunglasses always make you look cool so you gotta wear them. Duh.
This moment has also been gif-ed! I used video this time! It looks smoother, right? #gifingnewbie

St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, so I decided to get in the spirit because I’m Irish and all…JK! I’m Italian and I’m not a fan of dressing up in the holiday colors. I like green (as seen in just about every post) so I decided to take a stab at getting in a “holiday” spirit.

I didn’t want to overwhelm the world with green (as everyone else does). If I went with a bunch of bright, bright greens, I would basically be declaring, “Hey everyone! I’m short and wearing a ton of green. I’m a leprechaun.” Yeah, no.

I went with a more subtle way to wear the green–forest green. I went with a forest green cardigan over a denim green shirt. The tie had a hint of the same color green so it brought the look together. Even though I paired green on green, it didn’t turn out to be too much green (if that makes sense). It was just enough.
I even painted my nails orange and green! I think I’m revert to more subtle colors on my nails for a little while.
*NOTE: Ignore how cliché the title is…I wrote this post at 1am after a few drinks…

Now that the weather is in the ‘in between stage’, wearing a sweater or a cardigan will suffice to keep you warm. I opted for a destroyed sweater. I thought the rips and tears gave an interesting feel to a classic cardigan. I also like that the sweater looks heavy, but feels light. The cardigan plays mind tricks!

I added subtle color to a greyscale look. I love green and an olive green goes well with a charcoal grey. The tie is tame on its own, but paired with the plaid shirt, a quirky interaction takes control.

A new iPhone app launched this week and it’s called Thre.ad. It’s really cool because you can spot style, document it and share it with the world.
Since I was attending the launch party for Thre.ad, I decided to stick close to my style roots…fitted clothing with a preppy edge.

I chose to wear my Nate Archibald sweater (as I call it) because in the Gossip Girl books, Blair gives Nate a forest green sweater with a gold heart stitched inside the sleeve. Ok, you can stop judging me because you know you love Gossip Girl too. I am just not ashamed to confess my love (and all the details I know) about it.
Add a knit tie and a chambray shirt to the look and we’re good to go! Also, Zac Efron wore chambray the same day I did, so I am pretty sure we’re meant to be.

And yes, I made a gif of what I am like when I shoot these looks! Please bear with me! This is my first gif attempt ever! They will be better in the future–I promise. Why not have a little fun with a gif!?

For a week of craziness, I wanted a day to just chill. I thought wearing a light jacket paired with a button down was the way to go. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I love “hidden treasures.” This jacket has my favorite kind–hidden teal plaid.
Even if I decide not to wear plaid (rare), I can still secretly wear it with this jacket.

As I’ve started to do more often, I mixed a few different patterns–the teal plaid inside the jacket, the light blue plaid in the shirt and the purple argyle print on my socks. They don’t mesh perfectly but that’s why I like it.

I’m kind of obsessed with this necklace. It makes me seem more hardcore than I really am. And then I talk and rainbows and bubbles fly out of my mouth. I trick everyone.

Since I’ve gotten my Breil watch, I haven’t taken it off. It’s great quality in weight. It’s completely surrounded by Swarovski crystals and the band is lizard leather. I love it!
I want you to have the same enjoyment as I do so I’m giving away a Breil watch! The winner will be able to choose any watch from the Breil Orchestra collection to own!! And by any, I am mean any! There are both men’s and women’s watches! So that $500 watch can be yours!
The giveaway starts now and ends Friday at 11:59 pm. So plenty of time to enter!
How do you enter? You just have to tweet this:

Before you call me out for going all Sarah Palin with the title, let me explain…
If you’ve read Details this month, you know they profile those who are changing the world of social media. To celebrate these lovely folks, they held a “Social Mavericks” party in the Calvin Klein store on Madison Ave. last night.
I was lucky enough to attend and this is what I wore.

After seeing these photos, I realized you could easily place me in front of a lecture hall, have me talk about palaeontology and no one would question my authenticity. I’m not ashamed about it at all. I like the extremely nerdy look I am portraying. I am making Ross Geller proud–in a more stylish way.

Yes, that is a smile you see. Be happy! I never smile in photos as opposed to real life.
