This past Thursday, Out hosted the OUT 100 event held at Skylight SoHo in NYC. The event celebrated the extraordinary power of the individuals that inspire and motivate by example in the LGBT community. Needless to say, the whole events was packed with gay men in blazers. Everyone look so good that I am surprised the earth did not stop, spin backwards and implode from the amount of beautiful men in one place.
Of course the event was celebrity studded. I talked with Wendy Williams who refused to take any photos with me! I also ran into Eric Stonestreet. He was super nice and I was able to take a photo and introduce myself to him. I rubbed elbows with Kathy Griffin…literally, that’s all that we did. She was pulled in way too many directions–all the gays wanted a piece of her–cue Britney Spears “Piece of Me.”
What I loved most about the party was the fashion presence. Models and designers were everywhere with everyone from male model Diego Miguel, his model girlfriend, and the Blonds showing their support! Of course, I had to snag a photo with cover model Andrej Pejic. (BTW, Andrej is seriously beautiful. It’s amazing how he defies gender boundaries. I love his versatility in fashion–he really helps people feel comfortable with who they are.)
