Olympic-holic
If my Twitter timeline wasn’t enough evidence, I am obsessed with the Olympics. Wait, I think that’s an understatement. I am pretty much an Olympics addict. Ever since the 1996 Olympics, I have been a loyal fan/shouter/watcher/etc. I just love that the whole world can put differences aside and come together to celebrate the world’s best athletes. It’s so inspiring since Olympians accomplish their life goal! It’s truly a spectacular event that I will one day enjoy in person. Rio in 2016, here I come!
Despite being a Team USA super fan(girl), I don’t like looking too patriotic. Red has never been a favorite color of mine so I don’t like to don it often. But, I knew I had to wear some form of red, white and blue this past Tuesday. I decided to subtly wear red by wearing a light red pinstripe shirt. I paired it with navy shorts and bunch of blue and white throughout the outfit.
Now, is it a coincidence that the Women’s Gymnastics Team took gold and Michael Phelps became the most decorated athlete ever on the same day I wore this look? Nope, not a coincidence; I’m pretty sure I am the reason it happen. Joshing…. but seriously, I hope my American spirit helped bolster their spirits!
