It’s always fun to mix styles. I took a preppy look but added a more edge to it with leather boots and a leather jacket. Mixing different styles keep your personal style fresh.

Recently, there isn’t a day that goes by that I’m not wearing some kind of Warby Parker glasses. I really enjoy sporting this style of Preston because the frames have a blue marble coloring that bring out my eyes. If you find a pair that make your eyes pop, get ready for the compliments!

Something Serious

Sometimes it’s hard to mix colors within the same family of colors, but if they are far enough from each other, it can work. This teal, this navy and this denim are far enough to make it work.

Stumbling upon The Tie Society is probably the coolest find in a while. It’s basically a Netflix for ties. You sign up for a subscription, pick what ties you want and they are sent to you. You just send back and get what’s in your “queue”. It’s pretty sweet. You need to check it out!

Casual Addiction

There for 4 accessories that I obsess about: sunglasses, iPhone cases, bracelets and bags. If you saw my collections of each, you’d be impressed. Actually, if you just look at every blog post of mine, you can see the extent.

Adding a subtle hint of flair to a look is easy with bracelets. Most times I am all about the ARMy, but just wearing one can also do the trick. Lemon & Line have these awesome bracelets made from rope. They give a nautical feeling that only makes me want to be sailing around the ocean. You can just look down at your bracelet while at work and imagine you are somewhere more pleasant. Need I say more?

The essential to everyday during the summer months is a pair of sunglasses. I, of course, have many to choose from but they each are unique and have a different flair. I try to find ones that are different. These Warby Parker Jasper sunglasses were a perfect find. The color and shape are glorious. I love how they fit my face and I like the conversation that it created because everyone loves them. Feel a need for a compliment, just throw these shades on.

Something that I actually put a little more thought into than I should is my iPhone case. It really needs to match your style and personality. Seeing a bright lime green case that looks like Lego is not something I would ever use for my phone. It has to look like another accessory to my outfit. My newest case (which is actually my favorite of all) is this ebony wood case from Recover. It’s light, protective and ultra chic. Literally the best purchase you will make to protect your phone. Can’t you just taste the warm weather? It’s almost here. But until then, I’m going to enjoy the last few days I can wear a wool blazer.

The balcony at my office had the flawless Beyonce. It was a necessity to take these photos with her as my backdrop. I just hope I lived up to her fierceness.

I find that as the weather warms up, my ARMy comes out. The essential to a man’s ARMy is a watch. This Sperry Topsider watch adds a two-fold style to my ARMy. It’s different and fun and it’s going to be hard to take it off because I just want to leave it on always.
